My name is Nikki Helms and I’m a senior at the University of Arizona.  I grew up in Glendale, Ariz., but I’m loving Tucson as a college student. My major is journalism with a broadcast focus, and I have a Spanish minor as well.  My work in a  journalism class called Border Beat led me to create this blog, and I intend to discover and break some new boundaries during this trial run of my first blog!    When I graduate this May, I hope to find a job as a TV news reporter somewhere.  Anywhere!  I’m ready for an adventure or two.  Until then, enjoy my blog!
